AI can help retrieve, draft, analyze, and propose. Operating, safety, financial, and investment decisions need the appropriate qualified person and review process. Automation is bounded by the action and the evidence required to accept it.
Measure the actual task
A model score or processing-speed figure is not a complete business outcome. Define the task, baseline, quality, failure cases, resource cost, and receiving result. Keep assumptions visible when interpreting a forecast or estimate.
Design for correction
Source history, versions, approvals, and accepted outcomes should allow an authorized reviewer to understand and correct the workflow. Unknown states remain visible until reconciled; new evidence should not erase the original record.
