Bring a bounded question
A focused session starts with one operating decision and the people who own it. The team brings the current process, representative records, constraints, and the outcome that matters. This keeps the conversation anchored in the work rather than in a broad list of possible features.
Make the handoffs concrete
Map the source objects, role responsibilities, required approvals, and the accepted state at each handoff. A useful walkthrough shows where evidence enters, what may block progress, and how an exception returns to the responsible person. The result should clarify the integration boundary as well as the interface.
Leave with an acceptance plan
The next scope should identify the baseline, data access, delivery responsibilities, and evidence needed to accept the workflow. The commercial proposal then reflects a defined piece of work. A free initial assessment is the first conversation; a staffed discovery or implementation engagement is scoped separately.
