Follow the revision
A procedure, hazard review, inspection finding, or proposed change depends on the version of information used. A connected process-safety workflow retains those relationships so that a later revision can be assessed for its effect on work, readiness, and approval.
Keep authority explicit
People determine risk, accept studies, authorize work, and approve startup within the organization’s operating procedures. AI can help retrieve, draft, or propose. The application must preserve the distinction between a proposal and a signed record, and prevent a stale approval from silently applying to changed evidence.
Close the learning loop
Incidents, concerns, integrity findings, and audits create actions. Closure should reflect verified evidence and the appropriate reviewer, rather than a change of label alone. Connecting learning back to process information and work makes the record useful to the next team.
